We are partnering with New River Art & Fiber and Wool Workshop to host this 4th annual Yarn Shop Valentine event! You will be able to participate in person, online, or a combination of both.
Snow Dates will be the following weekend Feb 24th & 25th.

Yarn
Aster Fiber Company has created three stunning colorways especially for this event, one for each shop. The purchase of each skein will come with its corresponding section of the pattern and a stitch marker made for the event by Twin Mountain Handcrafts. Each shop's stitch marker will be different, so collect all the yarns to get the full set!
Pattern
Kendra of Aster Fiber Co has designed the knit pattern this year.
Cat of Cesium Yarn has designed the crochet pattern this year.
Both patterns are designed in thirds and are to be used with the event's three colorways. Each shop will be distributing one clue of each pattern and you will have your choice between the knitting pattern or the crochet pattern when you purchase a skein of the event yarn (through Saturday February 18).
Heart Hunt
Each shop will have a knitted or crocheted heart hidden somewhere in the shop and also one hidden on their website! Find the heart and post a photo of it on Instagram with the hashtag #YarnShopValentine2023 and tag the shop you found it at! @wool_workshop_ or @artandfiber or @knittincoop
You know we are chicken crazy here at The Coop...so when you find the "Love Chicken" hidden somewhere on our website let us know where you found it to be in the running for a prize!
How to Participate In Person
Shop Hours:
Each shop will be open at least 10am-5pm during both days of the event, though we'll be open 10am-6pm on Friday
Mask Policy:
Follow each shops masking guidelines.
Passports:
Pick up your passport ahead of time at any participating shop or at the first shop you visit during the Progressive Party! Get a stamp from each shop you visit when you make a purchase.
When you've filled your passport by getting a stamp from every shop, turn it in at the last shop you visit. Your completed passport enters you to win one of three prizes!
How to Participate Online
Passports:
Your digital passport for online participation button is below! Make a purchase online, in person, or over the phone from each shop during the Progressive Party, then fill out your passport with your contact information and the dates of your purchases. Your completed passport with purchases from every shop enters you to win one of three prizes, so make sure to submit it by Monday, February 20! When you submit your passport, a copy of it will be emailed to you automatically and you will be able to edit your passport if needed. Please do not submit more than one passport.
In Store Pickup:
Shoppers can choose in-store pick-up of their orders if they prefer. For those who choose shipping, orders will be fulfilled at the close of the event.
If your would prefer to pick up your order at New River Art & Fiber or The Wool Workshop, proceed to check out using the option "In Store PIck up and indicate in the "notes" which store you wish to pick up your order from. They will be available for pickup starting on Wednesday, February 22.
